Ratio Analysis of Profitability of Its Activities in Sector Food and Beverage Listed In Indonesia Stock Exchange

Abstract:
This study aims to determine the financial ratios that affect the profitability of companies in the food and beverage sector are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This test uses a linear regression of capital. The sample of the study were 10 companies engaged in the food and beverage sector. Observation period is 5 years from 2006 until 2010. Independent variables used are inventory turnover, receivable turnover, and total asset turnover which tested their effects on the dependent variable is return on equity. The test results showed that among the three partial variables tested, there are two variables that have a significant influence on the companys return on equity in the food and beverage sector is inventory turnover and receivable turnover. Simultaneously showed that the three variables tested have an influence on return on equity.
