Abstract:
This study seeks to determine the level of popularity and awareness of restaurants providing Continental European food, to validate the market potential of such restaurants and to determine the effect of the regional economic crisis on them. It also identifies the strengths that will enable these restaurants to proceed to the next millenium. The analysis shows that quality of food is of paramount importance to consumers, followed by the quality of service, price, location, decor and ambience and finally, promotion.
