Abstract:
Ideologues are today, trying to bring back the Socialistic Pattern of Society or more plainly “The License-permit Raj†under the more dignified and emotionally charged name of Swadeshi. If they succeed, all the bureaucracy that paralysed India's economic life for the first forty years of independence will once again become our daily experience. Managed Trade, a Command Economy, Swadeshi are inimical to growth. They demonstrate the negative thinking which has afflicted India in all aspects of our national life and produced havoc in it.
