Human Functional States: An Exploratory Study of Performance and Role Stress in a Power Plant

Abstract: The present study attempts to understand the functional competence of employees by developing a measure of and analyzing the factors affecting competence. A narrative inquiry method was used. Suggestions are made for a Human Resources Development strategy to improve the functional competence of the employees in a Power Plant in Sonebhadra, Uttar Pradesh, India.
