INDUSTY - DABBLE IN EDUCATION BUT CAREFULLY

N.K. Uberoi

Paradigm, 1997, vol. 1, issue 1, 33-35

Abstract: The present paper examines the possibilities for attractive methods of financing education in India without being dependent on the Government. To respond to industry could only be one aspect. Unfortunately, in these days of resource crunch the thinking of universities, governments and the press is giving enough proof of education tilting towards industry's requirement at the cost of the original and basic function of academy which is knowledge and learning; training being its outcome.
