Emerging Challenges for Managing People in New Business Scenario

Abstract: The new business era of liberalization, privatization and globalization has sent shock waves to business houses that were operating in sheltered market environment. There is a complete ambience of threats to jobs and business and how to cope with these threats. The challenge of managing human resources is of considerable concern in the present circumstances. Management of human resource practices, organizational learning, benchmarking, diversity management and leading versus managing are the major issues which need consideration by those who need to be best performers in tremulous business environment.
