Business School and Moral Education

N.K. Uberoi

Paradigm, 1999, vol. 3, issue 2, 24-27

Abstract: This paper discusses issues relating to introduction of moral education in business schools. The difficulties encountered in this regard are described. Pedagogical skills are very important for initiating and sustaining a discussion on moral issues, whether in business or otherwise. To agree to certain moral issues does not assume that one has disposition for being moral. To develop disposition, class room discussion is an important step.
