Factor Analysis – An Application to Assess Customer Satisfaction

Abstract:
Factor Analysis is a Multivariate Statistical technique which has gained wide applications in various business related areas. The general purpose of this technique is to find a way of condensing the information contained in a number of original variables in a set of new composite factors with a minimum loss of information. Present paper is an attempt to explain the technique of Factor Analysis and its application in assessing the level of bank customers' satisfaction in terms of the services offered by the banks.
