Abstract:
This paper presents a novel decision framework for optimizing resort hotel location selection via modified Delphi modelling. A panel of 24 experts with various backgrounds, including academia, government and business, provided input on location factor selection. During three discussions, panel members agreed to a set of 34 factors requiring consideration in selecting the location for a resort hotel. The application of the proposed model and future research directions are also addressed.
