Vision, 2009, vol. 13, issue 4, 63-69
Abstract:
This case was undertaken to explore how the efforts of a woman who was seeking an alternative lifestyle embedded in the sustainable living resulted in the empowerment of a group of destitute women. This model could perhaps be adopted by other persons and groups as well to bring about the transformation in the society thereby resulting into a social and economic development. The case describes the power of transformational leaders and looks at what leaders can do and achieve for the community, with their limited resources.
