Examining the Role of Principal Contributors to ‘Sectoral Carbon Emissions’: In the Indian Context

Abstract: In the light of impending global climatic risk due to different anthropogenic activities, the current article studies the sectoral carbon footprint of third generational alterations along with new emerging determinants like Information and Communication Technology (ICT), innovation and other related factors with a special reference to the Indian economy. The article concludes with the inclusion of possible way forwards that could contain the deleterious prospective influence with the help of the appropriate policies and programmes.
