Poonpipope Kasemsap

Agriculture and Development Notes, 2016, vol. 8, No 1, 2 pages

Abstract: The success of Thailand in agriculture and rural development is said to be the result of commitment of government leaders, innovation, and efficiency that lead to productivity, competitiveness, and prosperity; technology transfer that has been mainly private-sector driven; clear and simple policy; and human resources. With regards to human resources, the universities are deemed as the largest contributor to agricultural and rural development (ARD) in this Asian country.Â
