Abstract:
This book will guide State Colleges and Universities (SCU) of Science and Technology (S&T) in Southeast Asia, in deepening their knowledge in Management. It also includes topics on institution building at various stages of development, as follows: organization, governance, and leadership; comprehensive and strategic planning of instruction, research and extension programs; research and extension program management; total quality management (TQM); linkaging, networking, and resource generation; distance education; and ways to sustain SCUs in the 21st century. It also offers practical solutions to common problems, successful practices, and lessons learned as well as innovative approaches in managing programs and institutions based on the author’s experiences as a han ds-on administrator.
