Abstract: In the article the recreation and tourist potential and competitive advantages of Chernivtsi oblast in the involvement of the investments to the recreation and tourism are defined, the main elements, which determine the forming of investment attractiveness of the region and the risks for both investors and recreation territories are ascertained.
