Abstract: In the present world, powerful network organizations begin to play a greater role, due to significant synergy effect of cooperation. This paper deals with some aspects of Russian higher education and university science. Nowadays, there is a necessity of consolidation of university science and industry in networks in our country. It is no secret, that entrepreneurial networks may significantly reduce transaction costs, which usually emerge in the contracting process. In the paper, a system of indicators is represented, which gives an opportunity to estimate a compatibility of R&D area of the research university (which is going to become a member of the network) with the network enterprises activity.
