Abstract: This article is devoted to the study of the methodological aspects of scientific work of the great Russian economist N.D. Kondratiev. The paper reveals main methodological techniques, used by the scientist both in his practical work in the Market Research Institute of the Peoples Commissariat of Finance and in the theoretical studies in the area of cycle theory and the economics of agricultural sector.
