Abstract:
The article shows the historical evolution of investigation of the human behavior in the economic field. Special attention is given to the neoclassical, institutional and neo institutional approaches. The neo Austrian approach is considered as advanced neoclassical model. In addition, some aspects of methodological individualism concept and its modern interpretation are investigated and analyzed. The author surveys such important problems as human behavior rationality, the problem of opportunism and social influence on the personality.
