Abstract: The author proposes the model of investment portfolio formation in the insurance company. The portfolio management focuses on the main principles of investment activities in the insurance company: reliability, profitability, liquidity, subordination. Investment portfolio formation in the insurance company is among all depended on the assets structure, as keeping correspondence between certain assets groups and insurance liabilities fulfillment.
