Abstract: The article presents the universal scoring model of evaluation of the issuer's solvency. The model is elaborated to be used by commercial banks in order to improve their risk-management process in the field of financial investments. While taking into consideration the limited information base, presented model helps to give the complex evaluation to the issuer's business condition including financial and economic state, goodwill, market position, as well as its organization and management.
