Abstract: Modern economic development can be characterized by the existence of various counteracting trends that appear at both worldwide and national levels of the economy. Given this circumstance, the author points to the need to discover the principles regulating economic dynamic analysis which should be viewed as complementing the prognostic methods of macroeconomics. This task is solved by developing a multicyclical conception of economic conjunctures.
