Abstract:
Financial diagnostics is a field of research which deals with methods of model-constructing, testing of data, and analysis of the causes which lay behind change on in the financial market. This article describes the key concepts and methods of financial diagnostics. The author then discuses several approaches to the interpretation of diagnostic data and shows how financial diagnostics are classified. The article then reviews several operations and procedures of diagnostic analysis of financial conditions faced by firms. In particular, this involves the analysis and computation of the effectiveness of various decisions taken by financial agents.
