Abstract: Theoretical basics of the research of structural adjustments mechanism in an economy are studied thru interaction of its subjects and objects. Main contradiction of structural adjustments mechanism is the inadequacy between the structure of production and consumption. Partial solution of this contradiction is made thru redistribution of resources among industries of the economy. For successful structural transformation economic entities should follow the structural adjustments mechanism rather then resist it.
