Abstract: В соответствии с потребностью в постоянном изучении, совершенствовании и развитии подходов к решению проблемы повышения эффективности внешнеэкономической деятельности организаций Республики Беларусь проведен анализ ряда современных теорий международной торговли, рассмотрены данные, характеризующие динамику показателей внешней торговли товарами. Полученные результаты позволяют сделать вывод о том, что наиболее оптимальной моделью развития государства следует признать экономическую политику, сочетающую меры стимулирования экспорта и импортозамещения при ключевой роли экспорта. При этом увеличение экспортной квоты страны оказывает положительное воздействие на ее экономический рост, в то время как импортозамещение при узких границах национальных рынков его сдерживает. Мировой опыт свидетельствует, что наращивание экспорта, открытость национальной экономики способствуют повышению темпов экономического роста страны. Следовательно, разработка в Республике Беларусь мер, направленных на оптимизацию объемов выпускаемой продукции, совершенствование структуры экспорта и импорта, повышение конкурентоспособности товаров, расширение номенклатуры и ассортимента продукции за счет ориентации на производство инновационных, востребованных на мировом рынке товаров позволит не только повысить эффективность работы конкретных организаций, но и решить проблемы, стоящие перед экономикой страны в целом.In accordance with the need for continuous learning, improvement and development of approaches to solving the problem of increasing the efficiency of foreign trade activities of organizations of the Republic of Belarus analysis of some modern theories of international trade, are considered indicators that characterize the dynamics of foreign trade in goods. The results allow to conclude that the most optimal model of development of the state should be recognized as an economic policy that combines measures to stimulate export and import substitution in the key role of exports. The increase in the export quota of the country has a positive impact on its economic growth, while import substitution in the narrow limits of national markets to restrain him. World experience shows that the expansion of exports, the openness of the national economy contribute to the economic growth of the country. Therefore, the development of the Republic of Belarus of measures aimed at optimizing the production volumes, improve the structure of exports and imports, increasing the competitiveness of products, expanding the range and product mix by focusing on the production of innovative demand on the world market of goods will not only improve the efficiency of individual organizations, but also to solve the problems facing the country’s economy as a whole.
