Abstract: Розглянуто проблеми розвитку конкуренції та обмеження монополії в Україні в сучасних умовах. Проведено аналіз поняття «монополія» з історичної точки зору та його ролі в сучасній економіці. Досліджено діяльність Антимонопольного комітету України.Рассмотрены проблемы развития конкуренции и ограничения монополии в Украине в современных условиях. Проведен анализ понятия «монополия» с исторической точки зрения и его роль в современной экономике. Исследована деятельность Антимонопольного комитета Украины.The article reviews the problems of competition development and monopoly restriction under present conditions in Ukraine. The historical analyzes of the notion monopoly along with its role in the modern economy was carried out. The activity of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine was studied.
