Abstract: В России автоматизация ресурсоснабжения в инфраструктуре проживания и деятельности граждан в условиях наращивания применения умных технологий набирает обороты. в статье рассматривается определение понятия «умные сети», а также экологические выгоды, получаемые от развития умных сетей, и делается вывод, что умные сети позволят уменьшить вредные выбросы в атмосферуThe automation of resource supplies in the people’s habitation and activities infrastructure, given the growing use of smart technologies, is gaining momentum in Russia. The article considers the definition of a «smart grid» concept and environmental benefits arising from the development of smart grids. A conclusion is made that smart grids will allow considerable reduction of harmful emissions to the atmosphere
