Abstract: The necessity of differentiation between the terms «process» and «business-process» has been proven within the process-oriented management. The notion of «business-process» has been specified. Its distinctions in comparison with the existing one are: the division of business-process consumers into internal and external ones; the supplement of quality description of a business-process with «sequence» (as a sign of the basic notion of "process"); the content of the definition. The approach to the classification of the enterprise processes, which stipulates their division into business-processes and processes of the enterprise functioning and management has been substantiated. The model of business-processes at a motor transport enterprise has been developed, which in comparison to existing one, is based on the concept of creating direct consumer value and stipulates building the chain of enterprise business-processes that are classified as the basic and the supporting ones.
