Abstract: The paper describes etiology and comparative characteristics of isolated strains of clostridia. Shown the predominance of different strains of Clostridium perfringens in calves of different age groups, the etiological importance of other types of Clostridium: Cl.septicum, Cl.sordellii, Cl.novyi. Studied biological characteristics of anaerobic enterotoxaemia's pathogens and revealed the most pathogenic strains of Cl.rerfringens of type A, C and D.
