Abstract: This article focuses on the identification of trends in the development of the industrial complex of Ukraine and Russia on the basis of the analysis of dynamics of the basic indicators of development of industry. The author reveals the dependence of GDP on the level of industrial development, the impact of investment and innovation at the level of industrial development.
