Abstract: The article examines the regional aspects of cultural policy in Russia and analyzes the foreign know-how. The author considers various models of cultural policy realization and the specifics of regional cultural policy realization in the context of globalization. She also studies the role of modern information technology in the development of regional cultural policy, in particular, its use in museum work.
