Abstract:
The author shows that the model of relationships with suppliers, the buying strategy and the policies of retail chains are a part of the whole system of a company's strategic planning, and are formed by both competitive strategy and some functional strategies of the company. The article demonstrates how the commercial form of a company is linked to and justified by its competitive advantage and its competitive strategy.
