Abstract:

The purpose of the paper is to review the key indices of the food security of Russia in the environment of the economic crisis, aggravation of geopolitical processes, the Western sanction policy and the reciprocal food embargo introduced by Russia. The analysis was based on the food security concept formulated by the UNO Food and Agriculture Organization and certain provisions of the Russian Food Security Doctrine adopted in 2010. The conclusion confirms the emerging trend for positive changes in this area while there are still problems and uncertainties that need further evaluation and making effective decisions.

Целью статьи является рассмотрение ключевых показателей продовольственной безопасности России в условиях экономического кризиса, обострения геополитических процессов, санкционной политики Запада и ответного продуктового эмбарго со стороны России. За основу анализа взята концепция продовольственной безопасности, сформулированная Продовольственной и сельскохозяйственной организацией ООН, и отдельные положения доктрины продовольственной безопасности России, принятой в 2010 г. Сделан вывод, который подтверждает наметившийся тренд на позитивные изменения в этой области при сохранении ряда проблем и неопределенностей, нуждающихся в дальнейшем осмыслении, принятии действенных решений.
