Abstract:

The paper analyzes the interrelationship between the indices of the gross regional product (the main indicator of the economic development level of a territory) and population dynamics (the main indicator of demographic development) for the Russian Federation subjects and on the intraregional scale. Groups of regions with different patterns of such interrelationship are outlined. Examples of changes in the population as a function of the growth rates of the economy at the level of municipalities are provided. The problem of the discrepancy between the economic and demographic development in particular territories of the Russian Federation is revealed. The problem is typical for regions and municipalities with the fastest population growth or decline rates.

В статье проанализирована взаимозависимость показателей валового регионального продукта (главный индикатор уровня развития экономики той или иной территории) и динамики численности населения (основной показатель демографического развития) на уровне субъектов Российской Федерации и на внутрирегиональном уровне. Выделены группы регионов страны с разными вариантами такой взаимосвязи. Приведены примеры зависимости изменения численности населения от темпов роста экономики на уровне муниципальных образований. Выявлена проблема несоответствия экономического и демографического развития на конкретных территориях Российской Федерации. Особенно эта проблема характерна для регионов и муниципальных образований с самыми быстрыми темпами роста или сокращения численности населения.
