Abstract: Излагается опыт моделирования, прогнозирования и анализа энергетики региона с помощью его энергетического баланса. Показывается, как с помощью различных существующих методик его построения, воплощенных в описываемом инструментарии, строятся отчетные и перспективные энергетические балансы Иркутской области. Их анализ позволяет сделать вывод о том, что при построении энергетического баланса субъекта Федерации вопрос качества используемого методического инструментария в настоящее время имеет большее значение, чем вопрос качества исходной информации и проработок прогнозных сценариев. Experience of modeling, forecasting and the analysis of regional energetics by means of energy balance is stated. It is shown, how by means of the various existing techniques of its construction, embodied in described model toolkit, retrospective and perspective energy balances of the Irkutsk region are under construction. Their analysis allows to draw a conclusion: at construction of SF energy balance the question of methodical toolkit quality is now more significant, than the question of initial information quality and the question of scenarios elaboration quality.
