Abstract: Наличие общей границы между Российской Федерацией, на территории которой сосредоточено четверть мировых запасов лесных ресурсов, и Китаем, имеющим бурно развивающуюся экономику, обуславливает экспортную направленность в развитии лесной отрасли регионов России, граничащих с Китаем. В настоящей работе рассмотрена динамика развития лесопромышленного комплекса приграничного региона на примере Забайкальского края. Forest resource stock are one of the essential components of the natural capital of Russian Federation. The existence of the common border of Russian Federation with China having economic boom, causes an export orientation in the development of this branch of industry in border regions. This article presents the dynamics of a timber industry development in the border region. Transbaikalye is considered as a model territory.
