Abstract: В данной статье обсуждается история развития и использования различных методов измерения размера теневой экономики в западной литературе. Рассматриваются их плюсы, минусы и область теневой экономики, которую они охватывают. Также обсуждаются критические замечания по каждому из методов. This article discusses the history of the development and use of various methods of measuring the size of the shadow economy in Western literature. We consider the pros and cons, and the area of the shadow economy which that methods cover. It also discusses the criticisms of the each method.
