Abstract: Работа посвящена исследованию взаимосвязи темпов роста интеллектуальной собственности (ИС) стран c темпами роста ВВП. По результатам проведенного исследования делается вывод, что рост ВВП страны связан с темпами роста интеллектуальной собственности за рубежом, поскольку определяется ростом высокотехнологичного производства и экспорта продукции. Россия по сравнению с другими странами не увеличивает свое присутствие на иностранных рынках, поэтому говорить о наличии условия для перехода на инновационную стадию развития экономики страны пока нет оснований. Paper deals with the relationship of growth rate of intellectual property (IP) and the growth rate of GDP. According to the results of the study it was concluded that GDP growth is associated with the growth of intellectual property abroad, as GDP is determined by the growth of high-tech production and export of high-tech products. Russia in comparison with the other countries does not increase its presence in foreign markets, so we can’t speak about the innovation stage of development of the country.
