Abstract: В статье дается оценка преимуществ и угроз воспроизводства и формирования населения на приграничных территориях макроуровня, существенно различающихся по уровню социально-экономического развития. Особый акцент сделан на рассмотрение последствий миграции, ее влияния на половозрастной и этнический состав населения. По итогам анализа в зависимости от различия демографических проблем сформулированы основные задачи демографической политики Казахстанского и Восточносибирского приграничья. The article deals with estimation of advantages and threats of population reproduction and formation at the border areas macrolevel significantly different in terms of socio-economic development. Special attention is paid to the effects of migration and its impact on the sex and age and ethnic structure of the population. As a result of analysis depending on the differences of demographic problems the main tasks of demographic policy of Kazakhstan and East-Siberian border areas are formulated.
