Abstract:

This article discusses the robotic industry trends as part of the new industrial revolution. The dynamics of industrial robots spread in the United States and other developed nations is traced. Current trends in roboticsindustry are identified. Perspective areas of industrial robot usage are analyzed. Discusses the dynamics of venture investment in robotics.An attempt to evaluate the economic effect of the use of industrial robots is made. The social and economic effect of industrial robotics is assessed, partially, the influence on human employment. No confirmed direct link between growth in productivity as a result of automation and the rise in unemployment.Despite the prospects of human displacement robots, there are possibilities for the emergence of additional working places as a result of robotics invasion. Industry forecast is given for 3-5 years prospective.

В статье рассматриваются тенденции роботизации промышленности как части процесса неоиндустриализации. Прослеживается динамика распространения промышленных роботов в США и других развитых странах. Выделены текущие тренды в области роботизации. Анализируются перспективные сферы применения промышленных роботов. Рассматривается динамика венчурных инвестиций в роботостроение. Предпринята попытка оценить экономический эффект от использования промышленных роботов. Оцениваются социально-экономические последствия роботизации, в частности противоречивое воздействие на занятость. Не подтверждается прямая связь между ростом производительности в результате автоматизации и ростом безработицы. Несмотря на широкие перспективы вытеснения труда человека роботами, существуют возможности появления дополнительных рабочих мест в результате роботизации. Дан прогноз по развитию отрасли в США на период 3-5 лет.
