Abstract:
Over the past decade, the modern workplace has been reshaped by significant social, economic, technological, and global factors, with the COVID-19 pandemic acting as a catalyst for these transformations. Organizations worldwide had to adopt flexible work models to meet emerging challenges, with the hybrid model – combining remote and in-office work – proving to be one of the most effective approaches. This model provides employees with greater flexibility and autonomy, enabling them to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments. In the hybrid work environment, team effectiveness becomes a critical priority. Among the factors that significantly influence it are organizational structure, team structure, and team relationships. The hybrid model alters traditional communication and collaboration dynamics, necessitating a redefinition of how teams operate. Maintaining effectiveness requires organizational frameworks that support distributed work, clearly defined team roles and responsibilities, and fostering strong interpersonal relationships. This article explores how organizational structure, team structure, and team relationships shape team effectiveness within the hybrid model of work. Particular attention is given to the ICT sector, where the hybrid model is widely adopted due to its inherent flexibility and innovation. By examining these factors, the article aims to provide insights into strategies for building productive and cohesive teams in the hybrid work environment.
