Realization of the potential of social structures and to obtain additional competitive advantages (on the example of the conferences of suppliers)

Abstract: Supply chain management is based on a combination of incentives having market or administrative nature. It has advantages and disadvantages, as well as limitations on applicability in different settings. Moreover their integrated regulatory capacity is limited. Solution of problem of limited opportunities could be reached by the management of array of suppliers not only as a competitive but also the social environment that can improve stability of the procurement process, reduce the risk of losses, and reduce costs to prevention or suppression of opportunistic behavior of counterparties. Periodic conferences of suppliers, as a form of realizing the potential of social structures, is an efficient tool in the system of company’s market communications aimed at long-term cooperation with partners and also contributes to receive additional competitive advantages in the framework of the well-known market strategies.
