The public institutions’ workforce needs are growing because the expectations of citizens from public institutions are increasing due to their increasing needs and demands. Public institutions advertise the vacant jobs to notify the personnel needs. The traditional ways of publishing job advertisements have changed with the internet. Today, the internet is used for job postings due to its time and cost effectiveness and accessibility. The countries which have taken big steps on egovernment have started using the internet widely to publish public job advertisements. Instead of using the traditional job advertisement ways in Turkey, a country which gives importance to egovernment, choosing the internet for job advertisement would both increase resource efficiency and service quality and become an important step for e-recruitment. In this article, it is discussed that advertising staff recruitment to the public institutions should be posted to one-stop internet address regarding current legislations, advantages and developed countries practices.
