Abstract: Abstract In this chapter we cover the case of Malawi. The household survey data is described in Sect. 4.1. We summarize the food and cash crops institutional arrangements in Sect. 4.2. We present the farmgate price simulation results from the model in Sect. 4.3 and the household welfare simulations in Sect. 4.4.
