Abstract: Abstract The Lushan M6.1 earthquake is used to study the site effect. Based on the traditional HVSR method, taking the site where the station is located as the research object, SH wave and SV wave are inversely extracted from strong earthquake records, and their H/V spectral ratios are carried out respectively. The results are compared with the traditional HVSR method. The results show that the SH wave and SV spectral ratio method can better determine the site predominant frequency, while the site amplification of SH wave and SV wave is lower than that of the traditional HVSR method. The calculation method of HRVSR is proposed, and the limitation of underestimated site effect in HVSR results is preliminarily corrected. The site effects of 61 stations are preliminarily obtained, which lays a foundation for further research.
