Abstract: Abstract The study examined academic dishonesty among Accounting students from General and Islamic-based campuses. The main objective was to identify the causes, methods, and types of academic dishonesty commonly practiced by Accounting students. Through in-depth interviews, the study aimed to provide a clear understanding of the existing issues. Ultimately, the research aimed to contribute to the improvement of the education system. The findings indicated that the religiosity taught in Islamic-based campuses was stronger compared to students in general campuses, which could be attributed to implemented systems and the ethical and moral values upheld by these campuses.
