Abstract: Abstract This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of product innovation, entrepreneurial orientation, and entrepreneurial characteristics on competitive advantage in the micro and small-scale food and beverage industry in Padang. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The sampling technique used was random cluster sampling. The sample in this study was 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. Based on the results of partial research on product innovation variables, entrepreneurial orientation, and entrepreneurial characteristics have a positive and significant impact on competitive advantage in the micro and small-scale food and beverage industry in Padang. Based on the results of the simultaneous test, it is known that product innovation, entrepreneurial orientation, and entrepreneurial characteristics have a positive and significant effect on competitiveness.
