Abstract:
Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 led to changes in fiscal policy around the world. This paper uses the COVID-19 financial responses of governments as samples, investigating the relationship between fiscal policies and income level and authority. The research use three sorts of methods: comparative analysis, multiple logistic regression and clustering analysis. The result indicates that different types of policies have different impact on different regions, while each authority has its own preferred policy type. The study provides a nuanced dig into the fiscal policy used to respond to the pandemic, and reveals the potential regularities between policies and countries and institutions.
