Abstract: Abstract Autonomous driving introduces new liability challenges. This paper categorizes autonomous vehicles into assisted, highly autonomous, and fully autonomous, discussing the responsibilities of manufacturers, sellers, operators, and users. It stresses the need to allocate accident responsibility based on technology type and participant roles, ensuring user safety and technology advancement.
