Abstract:
Abstract At present, Shaanxi Province is facing great pressure of energy conservation and consumption reduction. Traditional methods to improve energy utilization efficiency from the technical level are not enough to meet the needs of the government. The way to promote social green development by using market rules is increasingly respected as in a market economy environment. In this context, green finance emerges at the historic moment, and its role in achieving the “dual carbon” goal has been confirmed by more and more scholars. Therefore, this paper calculates the development level of green finance in Shaanxi Province in recent decades, and makes a correlation analysis between it and energy intensity in the province. It is found that promoting the development of green finance can help reduce energy intensity and help Shaanxi achieve the national goal of energy conservation and emission reduction as soon as possible.
