Abstract: Abstract With the rapid development of global e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce has become a new trend in global trade. According to customs data, China’s cross-border e-commerce import and export of 2.11 trillion yuan in 2022, an increase of 9.8 per cent year-on-year, and the scale of cross-border e-commerce import and export exceeded the 2 trillion yuan mark for the first time. However, the development of cross-border e-commerce still faces various challenges, one of the biggest challenges is the inventory turnover problem. Self-shipment, platform overseas warehouse has been unable to meet the needs of cross-border e-commerce enterprises, third-party overseas warehouse has become the hottest topic in cross-border logistics. The site selection studied in this paper involves the spatial layout of the freight transport system for transporting and storing goods between production and consumption locations, balancing customer service levels and logistics costs. It aims to obtain a complete picture of the influencing factors of third-party overseas warehouse site selection and the interrelationships between them through the multi-factor analysis method, which helps to construct a model for the optimal solution of the location distribution and further promote the development of cross-border e-commerce enterprises.
