Abstract: Abstract With the rapid development of the Internet and the digital economy, more and more scholars pay attention to the transformation of enterprises. As one of the few box-type substation manufacturers with a large production scale within Beijing, Beijing Beifang Yongda Intelligent Electric Co., Ltd. Faces the need for strategic trans-formation. This paper systematically combs through the whole process of the company’s strategic transformation by using case and literature analysis methods, and conducts a detailed analysis of the internal and external aspects of the enterprise. The results of the study show that a rational strategic transformation that responds to market and policy changes will have a great positive impact on the company’s financial performance. At the same time, the positive reforms are necessary for a firm to stand out from its peers and take the lead in the market. This study provides practical experience for the transformation path of box-type substation manufacturers.
